Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our thriving team in Muthaiga, Nairobi. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome visitors, clients, and candidates, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls, screening and forwarding them efficiently while providing accurate information.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional reception area at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Assist with basic office management tasks such as ordering supplies and liaising with vendors.
- Operate standard office equipment, including photocopiers, scanners, and and fax machines.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and company records.
- Support the planning and execution of internal events and gatherings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when dealing with issues.
- Customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Familiarity with CRM software or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
