Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of designated areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) to detect and prevent suspicious activities.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Enforce site rules, regulations, and access control procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance to visitors, staff, and the public.
  • Complete daily shift logs and reports using designated software or manual systems.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and emergency services when required.
  • Undertake any necessary training and professional development as required by the role.

Required Skills

  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and personal integrity.

  • Basic IT literacy for reporting and communication.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrol duties, which may include standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • A full, valid UK driving license is preferred for patrol roles.
  • Willingness to undertake and obtain an SIA (Security Industry Authority) License upon employment.

  • Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
