Key Responsibilities

  • Manually unload incoming freight from trucks and containers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Sort and stage unloaded products according to established procedures and labels.
  • Verify shipment contents against manifests or other documentation.
  • Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after proper training, if required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of unloading tasks.
  • Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other general labour duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (up to 50 lbs)
