Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload freight by hand or with equipment onto and off trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Sort and segregate products according to company procedures, ensuring proper placement and storage.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests or invoices.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jacks, following safety guidelines.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks and potential issues.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned, including inventory support and order preparation.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
