Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior laboratory technicians and scientists with experimental setup and execution.
- Prepare chemical reagents, media, and solutions accurately following established protocols.
- Sterilize and maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
- Perform routine equipment calibration and preventative maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks.
- Dispose of chemical and biological waste according to safety regulations and company policies.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing lab improvements.
- Learn and apply new laboratory techniques and procedures as required.
