Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort packages, parcels, and mail according to designated routes, destinations, or categories.
- Scan packages using handheld devices or other electronic equipment.
- Load and unload packages from trucks, conveyor belts, and other systems.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed, including sweeping, tidying, and reorganizing.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Meet daily sorting targets and deadlines to ensure timely dispatch.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
