Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly vigilant and experienced Full-Time Safety Inspector to join our dedicated team in The Hill, St. Louis. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in upholding our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety and regulatory compliance across our operations. We believe that a safe environment is the foundation for productivity and employee well-being, and your expertise will directly contribute to fostering this culture.

As a Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and regular inspections of our facilities, equipment, and operational procedures. Your keen eye for detail will identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement, ensuring all activities adhere to local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as internal company policies. This isn’t just about identifying problems; it’s about actively collaborating with various departments – from operations and engineering to HR – to implement effective corrective actions and preventative measures. You will be a proactive advocate for safety, not merely a responder to incidents.

Beyond routine inspections, you will play a pivotal role in investigating incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. This involves meticulous documentation, interviewing personnel, and recommending robust solutions. You will also be heavily involved in developing and delivering safety training programs, educating employees on best practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment. Your ability to communicate complex safety information clearly and persuasively will be key to empowering our workforce to embrace a safety-first mindset.

Career.zycto is committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of our business, especially safety. We support our Safety Inspectors with ongoing professional development opportunities, access to the latest safety technologies, and a collaborative environment where your insights are valued. If you are a dedicated safety professional who thrives on making a tangible difference, possesses strong analytical skills, and is passionate about protecting people and assets, then we encourage you to apply. This role offers the chance to build a legacy of safety within a growing and forward-thinking organization. Join us in setting the benchmark for operational excellence and employee welfare in The Hill, St. Louis.
