Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
- Learn and accurately follow recipes and portion control standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station and cooking equipment.
- Ensure proper storage of food items, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any issues to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving and stocking supplies.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
