Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers) with various tasks on-site.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to designated areas using safe manual handling techniques.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures as instructed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Mix and pour concrete, mortar, and other construction materials accurately as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including waste removal, sweeping, and general tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Perform general upkeep and maintenance of tools and equipment, reporting any faults.
- Support site management in completing project tasks on schedule and within quality standards.
- Handle scaffolding components, ladders, and other access equipment responsibly and safely.
