This vital role operates exclusively during school hours, offering an excellent work-life balance for those committed to supporting student well-being and academic success.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Your day will involve working closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour, overcome challenges, and engage effectively with their education. This isn’t just about managing incidents; it’s about building strong, trusting relationships, understanding individual needs, and implementing tailored strategies that foster self-regulation, social skills, and emotional resilience.
You will be an integral part of a supportive team, collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with children and young people, coupled with an understanding of various behavioural strategies and a calm, consistent approach. If you are looking for a role where your empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills can truly shine, and where every day brings new opportunities to empower students, we encourage you to apply.
