As a Workforce Planning Analyst, you will collaborate closely with various departments, including HR, Operations, and Finance, to understand business demands, analyze workforce trends, and develop actionable insights. Your work will involve deep dives into workforce data, including headcount, attrition, productivity, and skill gaps, to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing workforce models, capacity plans, and staffing strategies that align with our long-term goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance workforce planning models, dashboards, and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of workforce data, including headcount, attrition, hiring trends, productivity, and skill inventories.
  • Forecast future workforce needs based on business growth projections, operational changes, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance leaders to gather requirements and present workforce insights and recommendations.
  • Identify potential workforce risks and opportunities, proposing proactive strategies to mitigate challenges and capitalize on strengths.
  • Support the annual strategic workforce planning process, including scenario planning and impact assessments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current staffing models and recommend adjustments for optimal resource allocation.
  • Assist in the development and tracking of key workforce metrics and KPIs.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in workforce analytics and planning.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience with workforce planning software or HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
