Job Description
A Duty Manager plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of various establishments, ensuring smooth functioning, exceptional customer service, and overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery across all departments during your shift.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
- Monitor inventory, manage resources, and oversee facility maintenance to ensure optimal operational conditions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, organisation, and presentation meet required standards.
- Prepare daily reports, including incident logs, sales figures, and staffing updates for senior management.
- Respond to emergencies and critical incidents, taking decisive action to resolve issues and minimise disruption.
- Collaborate with other managers to improve operational processes and achieve organisational goals.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or leisure.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation with a track record of resolving complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
