Your primary responsibility will be to observe, deter, report, and respond to various situations, ensuring the protection of property and persons. Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol designated areas of the hospital, both interior and exterior, to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and safety incidents.
  • Provide clear and concise verbal de-escalation for individuals exhibiting disruptive behavior.
  • Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions, escorts, and general inquiries.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs accurately and thoroughly.
  • Enforce hospital policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
  • Provide a visible deterrent to crime and unauthorized activities.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system monitoring
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Unwavering integrity and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous customer service experience
  • First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
