Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior audio engineers in recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
- Learn and operate various audio equipment, including microphones, consoles, interfaces, and outboard gear.
- Set up and tear down recording environments, ensuring proper cabling and signal flow.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, including equipment storage.
- Familiarize yourself with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
- Shadow engineers during live sound events or post-production work.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of audio equipment and software.
- Actively participate in training sessions and workshops.
- Document session details and maintain accurate records.
- Provide support for administrative tasks related to audio projects.
