Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior producers and engineers in the creation, arrangement, and mixing of beats and musical tracks.
- Operate and maintain studio equipment, including DAWs, MIDI controllers, synthesizers, and microphones.
- Organize and manage audio files, samples, and project sessions efficiently.
- Conduct research for new sounds, samples, and production techniques.
- Provide creative input and suggestions during brainstorming and production sessions.
- Help with studio setup, breakdown, and general maintenance to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Learn and apply basic audio editing, beat programming, and sound design principles.
- Support the production team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Stay updated with current music trends, production technologies, and software updates.
Required Skills
- Fundamental understanding of music theory and rhythm.
- Familiarity with at least one Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro X, or Pro Tools.
- Basic knowledge of audio recording and mixing concepts.
