Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial site assessments and secure affected areas.
- Execute demolition and removal of damaged materials according to safety guidelines.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain specialized drying equipment, including dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Apply anti-microbial and sanitizing agents to prevent mold growth and ensure a clean environment.
- Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and progress.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and, when appropriate, clients regarding project status.
- Keep work vehicles and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) regularly.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and potentially hazardous conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in general labor, construction, or a physically demanding role.
