Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
  • Help with light household tasks such as meal preparation, tidying living areas, and laundry.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with medication reminders as per care plan instructions.
  • Support mobility, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients.
  • Document care provided accurately and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Genuine empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Basic English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).

Preferred Qualifications

  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
  • Experience in customer service or any role requiring interaction with the public.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations.
