Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of various employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) plans.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits coverage, eligibility, and claims in a timely and professional manner.
- Process new hire benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with plan documents and regulations.
- Support the annual open enrollment process, including preparing materials, conducting information sessions, and assisting employees with elections.
- Reconcile benefits invoices and assist with payment processing.
- Maintain accurate employee benefit records in HRIS and vendor portals.
- Prepare various reports related to benefits participation, costs, and compliance.
- Assist with FMLA, ADA, and other leave administration processes.
- Collaborate with benefits brokers and vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth program operation.
- Stay informed about current benefits trends, regulations, and best practices.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
