Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payment processing, and reconciliations.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and process payroll information, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both physical and digital.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial inquiries.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks to support the finance department.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Adhere to company accounting policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, general ledger).
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AAT qualification or equivalent.
- Experience with payroll processing.
