Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, bricklayers, electricians) with various tasks as directed.
- Load and unload materials and equipment, moving them to designated areas on site efficiently and safely.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tidying up after tasks are completed.
- Dig trenches, shovel earth, and compact ground as required for various construction phases.
- Assist with site setup and dismantle, including erecting temporary structures or barriers.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, site rules, and company policies.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently from supervisors and team members.
