Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities (e.g., hygiene, meals, mobility) in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Monitor and observe patient behavior, mood, and physical condition, reporting any significant changes to nursing staff.
  • Accurately document patient information, observations, and interventions in electronic health records.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities, group sessions, and recreational programs as directed by the care team.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to patient emergencies or behavioral crises, following established protocols.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients, ensuring a smooth and comforting transition.
  • Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as required.
  • Adhere strictly to patient confidentiality and all ethical guidelines and organizational policies.
