Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our partners’ vibrant teams as an Entry-Level Hotel Guest Assistant in East York, Toronto. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon their arrival, assisting with luggage as needed.
  • Perform efficient check-in and check-out procedures, accurately processing payments and issuing room keys.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions in East York and wider Toronto.
  • Assist with reservations, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
  • Operate the hotel's phone system, directing calls and taking messages accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Process mail, messages, and faxes for guests and internal staff.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and safety procedures.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
