This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for those with no prior experience in agriculture, offering comprehensive on-the-job training to help you develop valuable skills in the rapidly growing field of sustainable horticulture. We understand that everyone starts somewhere, and we are excited to invest in individuals who bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be a vital part of cultivating high-quality crops in a controlled environment. Your daily tasks will contribute directly to the health and productivity of various plants, from precise seeding and transplanting to careful watering, effective pest and disease monitoring, and ultimately, the harvesting of fresh produce. We believe that a passion for learning and a strong work ethic are the most important assets, and we are committed to providing a supportive environment where you can thrive. You’ll learn firsthand about different plant species, optimal growing conditions, integrated pest management strategies, and sustainable farming practices that are critical for food security and environmental well-being in Kenya.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a keen eye for detail, and appreciates the satisfaction of seeing their efforts result in successful harvests. You’ll work alongside experienced agricultural professionals who are dedicated to mentoring new team members, providing guidance and sharing their expertise. Beyond the daily tasks, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the science behind plant growth, climate control systems, and the importance of precision agriculture in maximizing yield while minimizing environmental impact. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to grow, learn, and become an integral part of Kenya’s agricultural future. We are building teams that are resilient, innovative, and committed to producing top-tier produce that nourishes communities.
