Job Description

Career.zycto is urgently seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Tour Manager to join our growing team in Downtown, Helena Valley. You will be responsible for the seamless execution of tour itineraries, ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and satisfaction of all participants. This role demands strong leadership, impeccable organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, all while fostering a fun and engaging atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide tours, providing insightful commentary and ensuring a high-quality experience for all guests.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of tours, including transportation, accommodation, activities, and dining arrangements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tour participants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Handle unforeseen issues and emergencies with composure, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruption.
  • Monitor tour budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Prepare comprehensive pre-tour briefings and post-tour reports, documenting feedback and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, history, culture, and relevant safety protocols.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership and group management abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL preferred for larger vehicles)
  • Extensive knowledge of Montana's geography, history, and popular tourist destinations
  • First Aid and CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German, French)
  • Experience with tour operating software and booking systems
  • Certifications in wilderness guiding or outdoor recreation
  • At least 2 years of experience in a tour guiding or management role
