Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations within Quebec City and surrounding regions.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently and carefully, ensuring proper securing of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, vehicle mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients.
  • Represent Career.zycto professionally and provide excellent customer service during interactions.
  • Follow established routes and schedules, adapting to unforeseen circumstances as needed.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.

Required Skills

  • Valid driver's license (or eligibility to obtain one in Quebec).
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs (23 kg) with assistance if needed.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clean driving record.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle checks.
  • Fluency in French and/or English.
