Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in all daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, receiving deliveries, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by actively engaging with customers, addressing feedback, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety in compliance with health regulations.
  • Develop and manage employee schedules to optimize staffing levels and labor costs.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Handle cash management procedures, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand standards.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including P&L management, inventory, and labor control.
  • Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Current Food Handler's permit and/or Manager Food Safety Certification.
  • Experience with specific restaurant management software.
  • Knowledge of local food and beverage trends and market dynamics.
