Career.zycto is actively seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Night Security Patrol Guard in Downtown Brampton. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot patrols of designated properties and areas during night shifts, ensuring all points of entry are secure.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems, promptly investigating any suspicious activities or breaches.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a professional and timely manner, following established protocols.
- Document and report all incidents, irregularities, and observations accurately and thoroughly.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
- Provide assistance to employees, clients, and visitors as needed, maintaining a helpful and professional demeanor.
- Perform access control duties, verifying credentials and managing entry/exit points.
- Conduct routine checks for fire hazards, safety violations, and maintenance issues, reporting them promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform light physical duties
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
- Valid G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record
