Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and cleaning equipment.
- Support inventory management by assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and stored correctly.
- Help with waste management and recycling efforts.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly.
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes as required.
- Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
