Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective procurement strategies and policies.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible value.
- Manage vendor relationships, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Process purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, new products, and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement advice.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely availability of goods.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a procurement role, preferably within a dynamic environment.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
