This entry-level role is perfect for individuals who possess a foundational understanding of IT and security concepts, coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow within the cybersecurity domain.

As a Cybersecurity Support Assistant, you will be on the front lines, playing a crucial role in safeguarding our digital assets and supporting our users. You’ll have the opportunity to develop essential skills in incident response, threat monitoring, user support, and security awareness. Your daily tasks will include monitoring security alerts and promptly responding to potential threats, ensuring that any anomalies are identified and addressed in their nascent stages. You will provide critical first-level technical support for cybersecurity-related issues, guiding users through security protocols, troubleshooting access problems, and resolving common security concerns. A significant part of your contribution will involve assisting users with understanding and adhering to security best practices and company policies, acting as an ambassador for a security-conscious culture.

Furthermore, meticulous documentation will be key. You will be responsible for accurately logging security incidents, detailing resolutions, and maintaining up-to-date procedural guides to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer within the team. For more complex or advanced threats, you will thoughtfully escalate issues to senior cybersecurity analysts, providing them with comprehensive details to facilitate rapid resolution. You will also participate in the development and delivery of security awareness training initiatives, helping to fortify our human firewall against common cyber threats.

Beyond reactive support, this role involves proactive measures such as performing routine security checks and assisting with basic vulnerability scans, identifying potential weaknesses before they can be exploited. You will also manage user access and permissions under supervision, ensuring that our systems adhere to the principle of least privilege. Staying updated with emerging security threats, technologies, and industry best practices will be a continuous expectation, fostering your personal and professional growth.

This position offers a unique chance to work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and contributing to a secure operational environment. We are looking for someone who is not only technically curious but also possesses excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning. If you’re ready to make a tangible impact and build a robust career path in cybersecurity, we encourage you to apply.
