Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive inventory system for all studio equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, grip equipment, and accessories.
- Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality, longevity, and readiness.
- Coordinate equipment check-outs and check-ins for productions, ensuring accurate documentation, proper sign-off, and tracking of usage.
- Prepare and set up equipment for various productions, shoots, and events, ensuring all gear is correctly configured, tested, and calibrated.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment malfunctions and repairs; coordinate with external vendors and service providers for major repairs or specialized maintenance when necessary.
- Train studio personnel and production teams on proper equipment handling, usage, and safety protocols to minimize damage and ensure safe operation.
- Research and recommend new equipment purchases, upgrades, and technologies to enhance studio capabilities and keep us at the forefront of production standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe equipment storage area, ensuring easy access and efficient workflow.
- Assist with budgeting and procurement processes related to equipment maintenance, repair, and acquisition.
