Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead producers and engineers during recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
  • Set up and break down studio equipment, microphones, and instruments efficiently.
  • Maintain and organize studio spaces, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at all times.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and meticulous file management.
  • Aid in the preparation of project files, track organization, and session recall procedures.
  • Learn and apply fundamental audio editing techniques under direct supervision.
  • Support social media and content creation efforts related to studio projects and artists.
  • Conduct research on current musical trends, emerging artists, and innovative production techniques.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues with guidance from senior staff to minimize downtime.
  • Run errands as needed to support seamless studio operations and project timelines.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable profound passion for music and sound production.
  • Basic understanding of audio equipment, studio terminology, and signal flow.
  • Proficiency with at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, or FL Studio.
  • Excellent organizational and meticulous time management skills.
  • Strong communication and professional interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive attitude and a relentless willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and execute tasks with precision.
