Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior audio engineers and producers with the setup and tear-down of recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all studio spaces, including control rooms, live rooms, and equipment storage.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on studio equipment (e.g., microphones, cables, instruments) under supervision, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
- Support during sessions by handling cable management, microphone placement, patching, and minor technical adjustments as directed.
- Undertake general administrative duties such as scheduling, managing studio bookings, answering phones, and data entry.
- Run errands as needed to procure supplies, facilitate artist needs, or support general studio operations.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all studio protocols, safety guidelines, and equipment handling procedures.
- Provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere for artists and clients, assisting with hospitality as required.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues, seeking guidance from senior staff to ensure smooth workflow.
