As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the classroom, working closely with lead teachers to foster an engaging and effective learning experience for students. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, focusing on reinforcing learning concepts and assisting with assignments.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Support classroom management strategies and assist in supervising students during activities, breaks, and transitions.
- Prepare and organize teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and report observations to the lead teacher.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, grading, and communicating with parents as directed by the teacher.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development sessions, and training as required.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of students at all times, adhering to school policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (KCSE Certificate).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.

- First Aid and CPR certification.
