Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Handle various forms of payment including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Greet customers warmly, engaging in friendly conversation and providing excellent service.
- Scan items, apply discounts, process returns, and issue receipts according to company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional checkout area.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items, and direct them to relevant departments.
- Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and store services to enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor checkout queues and call for assistance as needed to maintain service efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all company operational procedures, security protocols, and health & safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure overall store cleanliness and operational smoothness.
