Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Handle various forms of payment including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
  • Greet customers warmly, engaging in friendly conversation and providing excellent service.
  • Scan items, apply discounts, process returns, and issue receipts according to company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional checkout area.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items, and direct them to relevant departments.
  • Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and store services to enhance customer engagement.
  • Monitor checkout queues and call for assistance as needed to maintain service efficiency.
  • Adhere strictly to all company operational procedures, security protocols, and health & safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure overall store cleanliness and operational smoothness.
