Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and orders.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks, following recipes and quality standards.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as heating pastries and assembling simple food items.
- Restock inventory for beverages, food items, and serving supplies.
- Monitor and replenish condiment stations and ensure they are clean and well-stocked.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
- Support senior staff with opening and closing duties as required.
