Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior editors with various aspects of post-production, including media logging and organization.
  • Organize and manage media assets, including footage, audio, graphics, and project files.
  • Perform initial rough cuts, assembly edits, and basic sequence arrangements under supervision.
  • Sync audio and video tracks accurately to ensure professional quality.
  • Apply basic color correction and grading, adhering to project guidelines.
  • Prepare and export files in various formats for review, client feedback, and final delivery.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient editing workflow and digital asset management system.
  • Actively learn and stay updated with industry-standard editing software, techniques, and trends.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the post-production team as needed.
  • Contribute creative ideas and perspectives during team brainstorming sessions for new projects.

Required Skills

  • Foundational understanding of video editing principles and storytelling.
  • Proficiency with at least one major non-linear editing (NLE) software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork abilities.

  • Basic computer literacy, including file management and cloud storage concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience with camera operation or basic photography principles.
