Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot daily data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Implement and enforce data quality checks and validation rules, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain high data integrity.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data architecture, improve system performance, and enhance data warehousing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
  • Support business intelligence and analytics teams by providing reliable data feeds and resolving data-related queries.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and security protocols to ensure compliance and data protection.
  • Perform root cause analysis for data-related incidents, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Participate in the evaluation and integration of new data tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage access controls and user permissions for various data platforms, ensuring adherence to security policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data operations, data management, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Apache Airflow, DataFactory).
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Snowflake).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and relational databases.
