Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironers safely and efficiently.
- Sort linens by type, colour, and soil level, ensuring proper handling and washing procedures are followed.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and wear before folding and storing.
- Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
- Fold, stack, and transport clean linens to designated storage areas or departments.
- Ensure all laundry areas are kept clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with other hotel operational tasks as required, supporting the wider team.
- Handle linens with care to minimise damage and extend their lifespan.
