Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Data Analyst to join our growing team in Rutherglen, Glasgow. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to product performance and user behavior.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the health and success of our products.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define measurement strategies for new features and product launches.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize user experience and product effectiveness.
  • Create detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and provide data-backed suggestions.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in data analytics and product management.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Demonstrable experience with statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis
  • Experience with product analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and data modeling
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Previous experience in a SaaS or technology company
