Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Logistics Warehouse Driver to join our growing team in Saint John, New Brunswick. As a Logistics Warehouse Driver, you will be a crucial part of our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods both within our warehouse facility and to various local destinations. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently for local deliveries and pickups within Saint John and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight in the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
  • Verify accuracy of shipment contents against manifests and delivery orders.
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse and company vehicles.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking, picking, and packing as needed.
  • Execute tasks with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to minimize errors and damages.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere, assisting colleagues when necessary to achieve departmental goals.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class 5 New Brunswick Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and perform other physical tasks associated with warehouse work.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English).
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with the Saint John, NB geographical area and local routes.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor environment (even if not professional driving).
  • Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries/receipts.
