Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, general ledgers, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulations.
  • Assist with tax preparation, audits, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management or clients.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Utilize accounting software and tools efficiently to streamline processes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
