This includes programming PLCs, configuring HMI/SCADA systems, integrating robotics, and ensuring seamless data flow between different control systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, program, and test PLC-based control systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).
- Configure and implement Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Integrate robotic systems (e.g., KUKA, Fanuc, ABB) into manufacturing processes.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure all automated systems comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis on automation equipment.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, software specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize existing processes.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends in automation and control.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budget management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA system design and development.
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Familiarity with robotic programming and integration.
- Solid knowledge of electrical control systems, sensors, and actuators.
- Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics within automated environments.
