Job Description
Career.zycto is on the hunt for a talented and passionate Game Developer to join our rapidly expanding team in Tete, Tete Province. As a Game Developer, you will be instrumental in the full development lifecycle of our games, from concept and prototyping to implementation, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain core gameplay systems, features, and tools using relevant programming languages and game engines.
- Collaborate effectively with game designers, artists, and other developers to translate design specifications into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and robust code.
- Identify and resolve bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks to ensure a smooth and high-quality player experience.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and propose innovative solutions to development challenges.
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation and contribute to project planning.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in game development.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C# or C++ programming languages.
- Strong experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Demonstrable understanding of game development principles, methodologies, and pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related technical field.
