Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable integration solutions using various technologies and platforms.
- Develop and manage APIs (REST, SOAP) to facilitate data exchange between internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of integration solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document technical designs, processes, and configurations for future maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all integrated systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Monitor integration performance and proactively identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stay abreast of emerging integration technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Software Integration Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js).
- Extensive experience with API design and development (RESTful services, SOAP).
- Familiarity with various integration patterns and protocols (e.g., ETL, Message Queues, Pub/Sub).
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
