Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in office settings, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, and sanitising surfaces.
- Execute thorough cleaning of residential properties, encompassing kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms.
- Ensure hotel rooms and communal areas (lobbies, corridors, restrooms) are cleaned to exacting hospitality standards, including bed making and linen changes.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and kitchens, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or hazards observed during cleaning.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with clients, residents, and guests.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures, particularly COSHH guidelines.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in multiple environments (e.g., commercial, residential, hospitality).
- NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Cleaning and Support Services.
