Career.zycto is urgently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Ski Resort Lift Operators to join our team for the upcoming season. As a Lift Operator, you are the first point of contact for many of our visitors, and your friendly demeanor and commitment to safety are paramount. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our ski lifts, assisting guests with loading and unloading, and maintaining a clear and safe operational area. Key Responsibilities
- Operate various ski lifts safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational procedures and safety guidelines.
- Actively assist guests with safe loading and unloading of ski lifts, including instructing first-time users.
- Scan and verify guest passes/tickets, ensuring proper access to the lifts.
- Monitor lift lines and loading areas, maintaining order and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic.
- Conduct routine visual inspections of lift equipment and report any anomalies immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment around lift terminals, including shoveling snow and managing ice.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering guest questions, and offering directions and assistance as needed.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to lift stoppages or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including lift mechanics and patrol staff, to ensure seamless operations.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and operational demands, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
Required Skills
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures.

- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions (cold, snow, wind).

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a ski resort, outdoor recreation, or customer service role.
