Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement software for industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, FANUC, ABB).
- Program robotic systems for assembly, welding, material handling, and inspection tasks.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of robot programs and integrated systems.
- Integrate robotic solutions with various sensors, PLCs, and wider control systems.
- Develop HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA applications for robot operation and monitoring.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for robotic systems and processes.
- Provide expert technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
- Actively monitor industry trends and new robotics technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, C#, or Java.
- Strong industrial robot programming experience (e.g., KUKA KRL, FANUC TP, ABB RAPID).
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley).
- Solid understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
- Familiarity with vision systems and other sensor integration techniques.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for robot path planning and simulation.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence applications in robotics.
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) for developing robotic applications.
- Proven project experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation setting.
- Knowledge of safety standards for industrial robotics (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06).
- Experience with robot simulation software like Siemens Process Simulate or ABB RobotStudio.
