Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, compliance standards, and governance policies within cloud environments.
- Automate routine operational tasks and develop tools to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define and implement cloud strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support (if applicable).
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating their applicability to our needs.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
