Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand health history, lifestyle, and wellness goals.
- Develop and implement personalized wellness treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques (e.g., massage, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, relaxation techniques).
- Perform therapeutic treatments with professionalism and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, lifestyle adjustments, and home exercises to support their wellness journey.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, tidy, and prepared for each client, maintaining a serene and welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and wellness staff to provide holistic client care.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new therapies, and continuing education opportunities.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to service improvement and program development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Wellness Therapist or similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in various wellness modalities (e.g., Swedish massage, deep tissue, reflexology, aromatherapy).
- Excellent understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Ability to create a calm, professional, and therapeutic environment.
- Outstanding client service orientation.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Ability to manage appointments and maintain accurate records.
